I haven't posted in several days. Life has just been crazy. I can't ever seem to get a tablescape put together, but I love looking at everyone else's. Y'all have some cute dishes and some very creative ideas. If you don't mind, I'd like to share the closest I can come to a tablescape this week for Susan's party, http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/. My grandson, Jackson, and I were enjoying a morning on the screened porch this week. In fact , he was eating a Pop-Tart out there. Nutritious, I know. He pulled out an old plastic picnic basket of dishes, cups, and utensils I let him play with. He is setting the table.
and cooking...
What a little cutie! I love your screened in porch...
ReplyDeletethis is the best tablescape by far!!! ANd grandchildren are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nannykim! Give him the 'Best Tablescape' Prize!

ReplyDeleteMom, I LOVE this...but I'm super partial! =)
ReplyDeleteI would call THIS one a REAL tablescape complete with wonderful memories in the making. Whether dishes are china, porcelain or plastic they all have special moments in mind. He is a jewel with that sweet little smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining my following friends and I look forward to more sharing in the future ;-)

I love the tablescape your little one has created here. I feel like you do, I can hardly get dinner cooked much less tablescape it! Have a great week.

What a cute little helper you have there!
ReplyDeleteSheila,
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you, and that you'll soon be back with another of your fun posts.
I peek in often, and your little host/helper is well worth the look--he's precious, and quite adept in his creativity.
I know times on that porch are equally fulfilling, and I'm glad you have such a wonderful time together, and especially glad that you share them.
Even though I love looking at everyone elses tablescapes, right now my husband and I have mismatched TV trays, and it's just the two of us. I love dishes of all kinds, but I don't cook too much. I love your "real life" cook and helper. Just a darling little guy! Thanks for "being real", my motto.
ReplyDeleteSheila, Jackson is precious...and that's a cute tablescape if I ever saw one! Can't wait until I have some grandbabies to spoil! :-)
