Santa? Jesus?

I can't believe I am posting 2 posts in one day. This was too cute to pass up. My sweet 2 year old grandson, Jackson, was at my house yesterday. He found a Santa I had gotten the other day at Dollar Tree and he brought it to me. He said, "Mimi, this is Jesus". I said, "no sweetie that is Santa", and he said, "Ho, Ho, Ho". From the mouths of babes...

I will definitely put that cute ornament on top of his Christmas present.

With the Christmas season approaching, we do need to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.

LOL! Out of the mouths of babes! Don't moments like that just melt your heart?? And, yes, we do need to remember the reason...

How cute- I have a santa that was just a little bit smaller than my little girl when she was one and she would pick it up and walk around with it and say hohoho.

How darling is he! I have this great book... I will post it on my blog as Christmas gets closer. You may have seen or heard it. It basically talks about how Santa is Like Jesus... He (they) love us, he brings us gifts, he has a white beard... etc. the similarities. Thanks for your visit too.

He is a cutie! Yes, I agree with you. Sometimes things get so hectic around the holidays -- we need to stop and sit down with our Bibles and read the true Christmas story.

When my kids were little every Christmas Eve my husband would read the "Night Before Christmas" to them. After that I would read from the Bible about the birth of Jesus.

But the reason for their waking up at 5:00 a.m. every Christmas morning was Santa, of course (myself included). It's so easy to just think about Santa in relation to Christmas.
