It doesn't look that bad, really...
We were in an accident Saturday night on our way to a family dinner in honor of Joey's Dad, Pop, for his birthday Thankfully no one was hurt, and it was not our fault. I'm so glad Joey was driving and not me. He kept control and was able to lessen the impact to the other car. When I called 911 I didn't know where exactly we were. I stood on the side of the road blubbering like a baby. We did make it to the dinner about an hour late.
It sure tore our car up , though. Joey was able to drive it home, but he had to fight it all the way. He strapped it down on his trailer and took it to the body shop Monday.

It got the front bumper, back side door, and all the way to the back fender. The steering wheel and the underneath was bent up. I believe God protected my passenger door.
Psalm 121:7-8 "The Lord will keep you from all harm-He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over you coming and going both now and forevermore."
Goodbye friend...

We haven't heard the final word from the insurance company, but the man from the body shop says it looks like it is totaled. I'm sure not ready to go out car shopping. We have more important things to do like a wedding to plan.

Sorry about the accident. Just glad no one was injured.
I have stayed in with all the snow and ice we have had lately. I drive pretty well on it, as I got a lot of experience when I worked. But do have issues with those that think they can go the normal speed on frozen precip., and create problems for others.
Stay warm.

Sheila,

I'm SO thankful you were both all right!! I know any little fender bender shakes you up and leaves you trembly, but something that did all that damage must have been really scary.

You were held tight in the Lord's hands, every second.

Prayers and thoughts from the Heartland!

HI Sheila, so glad you are ok. Hope everything is ok and that your insurance will help.
I remember fussing at God after an accident with my kids on the way to college. We had prayed for safety...and the car was demolished. ever so gently I heard Him say "no one was hurt were they?" And I thought...all the kids were safe...I was safe...only the car was messed up.
Now I pray over all of us AND THE CAR! Big smile!
Blessings

Oh no! You are so lucky to be safe. It's also a good thing that you were not alone, it is very scary to try and figure out what to do after and accident.
