A Day With Our Favorite Boys

The grandsons spent the night with us
Friday night.

Saturday morning we took them to Home Depot for the kids workshop. Joey helped Jackson build a school bus pencil holder.

Hudson slept most of the time.

Jackson was really good with the hammer.

Here is his pencil holder. He seemed quite proud of it. It really turned out cute.

Then, we went to Build A Bear and Jackson made a puppy. We found a cute little dog for Hudson, too.

After you build the pet, you take it to the "bathtub" area and give it a bath and a good fluffing.

We had some lunch and went to the park for a while.

When we took them home, Jackson put on his Buzz Lightyear costume to match his new puppy.

Then he decided to cool off in the sprinkler.

We had a wonderful time with them. And, yes, we were all tired!

Sounds like you all had a good day. The little ones can wear a person out. :)

Your grandchildren are precious. I am a grandmother to five little ones and they are the joy of my life. They can run you ragged though. xo, Sherry

Sheila,

I get such a kick out of your sweet boys---I laughed out loud at the picture of Buzz and BuzzPup!

And that Jackson---from mechanic to carpenter in a few short weeks---he'll be such a Jackson-of-all-Trades, he'll be in demand all across the South. What's next? Engineer? Pilot? Surgeon?

We're having a sleepover with Our Girl one day this week, and taking her to the State Fair to see all the animals. But we're not telling her til it's time to get in the car!
